About the Role
As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in driving Agile adoption and ensuring high-quality delivery within transversal teams—teams that provide services across multiple functions and have intricate dependencies. Acting as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, you will guide teams through Agile best practices, remove roadblocks, and ensure smooth cross-team integration.
Your Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum Processes – Lead SAFe Scrum events, ensuring seamless execution of Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
- Serve as a SAFe Facilitator – Engage in PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos, ensuring alignment with program-level objectives.
- Drive Team Collaboration & Communication – Act as a bridge between Agile teams and stakeholders, promoting transparency and continuous feedback.
- Manage Dependencies & Remove Impediments – Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies, ensuring efficient delivery of services.
- Champion Continuous Improvement – Leverage Agile metrics like velocity and burn-down charts to drive performance and predictability.
- Mentor & Coach – Empower team members with Agile best practices, fostering a self-organizing, high-performing team culture.
- Align with Business Goals – Work closely with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Service Owners to ensure delivery of customer value.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3+ years as a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment, preferably within IT or software development.
- Certification: SAFe 6.0 Scrum Master (SSM) required; additional Agile certifications (CSM, CSP) are a plus.Skills: Strong facilitation, Agile coaching, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Jira, Rally, or similar Agile tools.
- Soft Skills: Adaptability, problem-solving mindset, and a team-first attitude
- Languages: Fluent English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
- Other: EU citizenship required.
