About the Role
Are you an expert in IT resilience and disaster recovery, ready to ensure business continuity in the face of cyber threats, system failures, and unforeseen disruptions? This role is an opportunity to develop and implement robust Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, ensuring the stability and security of critical IT services.
Key Responsibilities
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Develop, implement, and maintain IT BC/DR plans aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.
- Define and oversee Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) for IT services.
- Ensure IT resilience strategies meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Testing & Training
- Plan and execute regular disaster recovery exercises and business continuity tests.
- Analyze test outcomes and refine continuity plans accordingly.
- Conduct training for IT teams and stakeholders on continuity protocols.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure BC/DR strategies comply with ISO 22301, NIST, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies to demonstrate IT resilience compliance.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work with IT infrastructure, security, and business teams to enhance continuity measures.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend tools to improve IT continuity and disaster recovery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on business continuity.
- Solid understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies in architecture and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver practical and innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- EU citizenship is required.
- Experience in public administration or complex environments is a plus.

A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
