As Windows System Engineer (m/f/d), you support our infrastructures and services.
You administer and monitor systems, analyse and resolve problems, support migrations to new technologies, find solutions and work hand in hand with your colleagues from the network and security departments.
You are the contact person for 2nd and 3rd level support for our customers. You plan and design the implementation of IT projects in the cloud and infrastructure area.
Hybrid working model: mainly remote in your home office (you live in the Rhine-Main or Rhine-Neckar metropolitan regions), occasionally in the office and at the customer's site.
Your tasks:
- Installation, configuration, operation, monitoring and maintenance of the entire server and client infrastructure (Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, Windows 10/11);
- Troubleshooting for Microsoft server and client products;
- Installation of updates, service packs, security patches for operating systems and operating system-related products;
- Server administration with SCCM and SCOM
- Support and administration of directory and infrastructure services (Active Directory, Entra ID / AD on Azure, ...);
- Administration of virtualisation environments (VMWare, Hyper-V) and monitoring tools;
- Further development and improvement of the infrastructure in cooperation with your colleagues in the team: admins, architects, project managers, developers;
- Creation, maintenance and optimisation of technical documentation.
Your profile:
- You have a technical degree, training as an IT specialist for system integration or equivalent professional experience;
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience as a Windows system administrator;
- Your expertise in Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory is excellent;
- You have knowledge of virtualisation with VMWare and/or Hyper V;
- You have a friendly demeanour and enjoy working on tricky projects;
- You are curious and want to continue your education;
- Your language skills: very good knowledge of German (at least C1), good knowledge of English (at least B1)
