Job Title: Active Directory Security Assessment Specialist

Location: Onsite in Mons, Belgium

Security Clearance: Clearance is mandatory.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Security Assessment Specialist to support the analysis and reporting of data from an Active Directory Security Assessment Tool. The role involves ensuring data accuracy, monitoring and analyzing security issues, and providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders. The position requires onsite presence and adherence to strict security protocols.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Accuracy and Maintenance:
   • Ensure accurate and up-to-date Active Directory (AD) data collection from various domains.
   • Configure security baselines based on industry best practices and organizational policies.
   • Review, fine-tune, and improve existing security policies.
   • Report technical issues to Tool Managers and follow up on new security solution releases.
2. Monitoring and Analysis:
   • Daily monitoring of the security assessment tool.
   • Identify potential security issues and prioritize remediation actions based on risk assessment.
   • Analyze collected data and ensure timely reporting of vulnerabilities.
3. Reporting:
   • Report critical vulnerabilities within 4 hours and high vulnerabilities within 8 hours.
   • Deliver weekly comprehensive vulnerability reports to stakeholders.
   • Maintain a PowerBI dashboard (or similar) for real-time data access.
   • Record KPIs to track trends in AD security issues.
4. Remediation Actions:
   • Follow up on remediation of reported security issues.
   • Escalate unresolved issues as necessary.
5. Documentation:
   • Maintain up-to-date documentation of configurations, baselines, and troubleshooting procedures.
   • Keep a lessons-learned document.
6. User Access Management:
   • Review and verify user access to the security solution.
   • Coordinate with Tool Managers on user access management issues.
7. Automation and Scripting:
   • Identify areas for automation to improve process efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3+ years in IT security, focusing on Active Directory security, system administration, and security assessment tools in large organizations.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Active Directory Management.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and experience with Tenable products, especially Tenable Identity Exposure.
  • Comprehensive experience in administering Microsoft Windows Domain-based networks.
  • Systems administration experience, ideally with both Windows and Linux.
  • Good engineering skills, including programming and scripting knowledge (Python, shell scripting, PowerShell).
  • Demonstrable experience in analyzing, prioritizing, and reporting vulnerabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Database management skills, preferably MS SQL.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to articulate complex issues to various audiences and teams.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working in high-security environments.
• Strong team collaboration skills.

Practical Arrangements:

• The role requires approximately 100% onsite presence in Mons, Belgium.
• Work hours will be adjusted according to the team's needs.
• The position includes access to necessary business IT tools and a provided laptop for contract execution.
