We are looking for an expert in IT portfolio management to strengthen the PMO team of a major industry player. Your mission: structure, organize, and optimize IT initiative planning and proactive management.
Your Responsibilities :
✅ Structure "Run" activities and IT initiatives (demands, projects, dependencies)
✅ Improve budget planning and financial control (multi-year)
✅ Develop strategic planning with the management team (multi-year)
✅ Gather and structure the needs of 6 business units (Customer, HR, Finance, Transport Systems, Corporate, Operations)
✅ Manage the IT project and service portfolio using ServiceNow SPM
✅ Define the strategic roadmap for projects and investments
Expected Deliverables :
🔹 Budget Management: Structure and optimize IT costs for better financial and business alignment
🔹 Project Portfolio Management: Structure and oversee the portfolio using ServiceNow SPM
🔹 Service Portfolio Management: Optimize the IT service offerings
🔹 Strategic Roadmap: Define priorities and investment plans
Team & Collaboration :
🌟 Federated model: A central 3-person PMO team + 10 PMOs within IT units
🌟 Leading the PMO IT community (~25 people)
🌟 Reporting to the Head of CIO Office
Required Profile :
🔹 Expertise in PMO IT, Portfolio Management, Program Management, Budget Management, and Strategic Planning
🔹 Languages: French or Dutch (bilingual proficiency) + English (professional proficiency)
🔹 Proven experience in:
✔ Being part of a project/program board
✔ Acting as a project/program sponsor
✔ Working in an IT Portfolio Management Office and reporting to senior leadership
✔ Operating within a federated model
✔ Coaching portfolio management officers

A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
