We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Test Analyst to objectively assess the quality of our software and ensure compliance with both functional and non-functional requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing test cases, identifying non-conformities, and collaborating with teams to enhance software quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases related to functional and non-functional testing.
- Interpret test results and identify non-conformities.
- Prepare and maintain test data.
- Generate reports on test activities and results.
- Track defect corrections and ensure proper resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate functional documentation, including use cases, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
- Participate in sprint planning and contribute a tester’s perspective.
- Write and execute BDD test scenarios using Cucumber.
- Organize and manage the test case library.
- Identify and document bugs for correction.
- Validate BDD implementation and follow up on knowledge transfer with relevant teams.
- Engage in R&D activities and suggest improvements throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals (equivalent to ISTQB Foundation).
- Advanced knowledge of test management tools.
- Proficiency in BDD frameworks (such as Cucumber).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in reviewing and challenging business rules and functional documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools.
- Familiarity with performance and security testing.
