Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, reusable, and reliable software applications.
- Lead the resolution of technical debt and define the future evolution of the primary application.
- Troubleshoot issues effectively, conduct thorough analyses, and fix bugs swiftly.
- Gather, analyze, and refine requirements to create user-friendly functionalities.
- Ensure high code quality, organization, and automation throughout the development process.
What You Bring
- A degree in Computer Science or IT, coupled with 5-8 years of experience in a corporate environment with multi-tier applications.
- Proven expertise as a technical lead and application designer.
- Mastery of Java, object-oriented programming, domain-driven design, and software design patterns.
- Knowledge of relational databases.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the courage to challenge the status quo.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with BTT, Site Factory, and functional banking or credit knowledge.
- Experience with tools and methodologies such as TDD, Spring, Maven, RESTful APIs, SVN/Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, JIRA, Docker, and Kubernetes.
