We are looking for an experienced and skilled system administrator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve system-related problems.
- Install and upgrade infrastructure software, including monitoring solutions.
- Test and evaluate system upgrades.
- Schedule installation work to minimize disruption.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve hardware or software issues.
- Follow organizational procedures to ensure system integrity and security.
- Install, maintain, and support the organization's data center hardware infrastructure, including servers, enclosures, UPS systems, patch panels, tape libraries, cabling, etc.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of data center hardware infrastructure.
- Extensive experience with Windows/Linux server operating systems.
- Expertise in virtualization solutions (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of network storage solutions (SAN/NAS, NetApp/EMC).
- Proficiency in central backup systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Hands-on experience with racking, cabling, and connecting hardware in data centers.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues.
Required Technical Certifications:
- SolarWinds Certified Professional
- MCSE/MCSA: Windows Server 2012 or above
- Microsoft Azure Administrator
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA®) or above
- Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1 or above
- Oracle Certified Professional Oracle Linux
- VMware Certified Professional 5 – Cloud Management and Automation (VCP5-CMA) or above
- NetApp Certified Data Administrator
- Dell Systems Administrator (DCS-SA) / Platform Engineer (DCS-PE)
- Disaster Recovery Certified Specialist (DRCS)
