AISB-293 IT Functional analyst

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Functional Analyst to join our team. Your role will focus on identifying business challenges, mapping out tailored solutions, and ensuring smooth integration into the enterprise environment. You'll play a key part in shaping solutions that align with business requirements while considering cost efficiency and strategic goals.

Role and Responsibilities

Preparation Phase:

• Collaborate with business analysts and clients to identify suitable solutions, while considering enterprise architecture, costs, and benefits.
• Ensure clients follow enterprise standards regarding architecture, security, and regulations.
• Work closely with architects, project managers, and product owners to establish clear project directions and architecture.
• Serve as the communication bridge between the client, business analysts, and asset teams to ensure alignment.

Elaboration Phase:

• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications.
• Coordinate with involved assets to define each team’s role in the implementation.
• Design application components to fit into the solution, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and team needs.

Construction Phase:

• Monitor development and testing phases to ensure the solution is implemented as per the functional requirements.
• Define technical components and requirements for cross-functional teams.
• Provide support during supplier integration and assembly testing (I&AT).
• Troubleshoot issues during testing and assist in smooth release and deployment.

Post-Production Support:

• Provide on-demand support for operational teams post-deployment.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents and update documentation accordingly.
• Coordinate with helpdesks and operational teams to address issues and ensure continued system performance.

Language Requirements

• Dutch: Required
• French: Required
• English: Proficient in English with at least one local language.

Key Experience & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 6 years in functional analysis, ideally within Agile projects.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of existing IT systems and functional analysis.
• Knowledge of risk and credits domain.
• Experience with financial data and business analysis methodologies.
• Preferable: Practical experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
