What You'll Do
As a Platforms Specialist, you’ll take ownership of :
- Platform Architecture : Designing, installing, and configuring solutions such as databases, middleware, virtualization, and containers.
- Automation & Orchestration : Implementing and operating tools to streamline and enhance platform operations.
- Monitoring & Reporting : Using advanced tools like Splunk to manage platform health and performance.
- Issue Resolution : Troubleshooting and solving platform challenges efficiently.
- Shared Services : Managing software like OpenShift, Splunk, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Backup & Performance Optimization : Ensuring robust backups, conducting restores, and fine-tuning performance.
- Documentation : Crafting and maintaining technical documents and operational procedures.
Your Skills & Expertise
We’re looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who brings:
- Proven ability in detailed platform design and implementation.
- Strong experience with search and logging tools like Splunk and ElasticSearch.
- Expertise in DB, middleware, virtualization, and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- A knack for performance tuning and analysis.
