Pega System Engineer (Developer)

Cologne/Bonn or Rhein-Main region (Germany preferred)
Your role:
As a Pega System Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering advanced Pega application configurations, collaborating with scrum teams and business subject matter experts, and contributing to requirements elaboration and issue diagnosis. You will also mentor and coach junior team members, ensuring quality assurance throughout the development process.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced Pega application configurations.
- Collaborate with scrum team and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to requirements gathering, issue diagnosis, and knowledge sharing.
- Coach and mentor co-producing resources.
- Review and ensure continuous quality assurance of Pega applications.
- Provide integration design and implementation support when needed.
What we’re looking for:
Essential skills & experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Pega developer.
- Certified Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) (version 8.5 or above).
- Expertise in business & information analysis methods.
- Strong background in data modeling, data flows, and business process modeling.
- Proven experience in business analysis for IT development projects (web, software, infrastructure, and security).
Candidate profile:
- EU citizens preferred; valid work permit for Germany or the EU is required.
- English fluency (B2 level or higher); knowledge of other EU languages is a plus.
- Ideally, based in Germany (Cologne/Bonn or Rhein-Main regions).
- Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work in a multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent, EQF Level 6) or higher education in a relevant field.
