ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. We are a forward-thinking company committed to delivering top-notch IT solutions and services. Must-Have qualifications:

• Educational background: Completed studies or completed training.
• Language proficiency: Native German or at least C1 level German. Good knowledge of English, particularly for understanding technical documentation.

Nice-to-have criteria (The more, the better):

Work experience and project management:

• Experience:
  • At least 5 years in project management.
  • At least 3 years in IT project management.
  • At least 3 years as a project manager with overall responsibility in the social insurance environment (preferably professional associations).
  • At least 5 years in an IT service management environment according to ITIL.
  • At least 5 years in executing projects following a standardized methodology (e.g., IPMA/GPM, Prince2).

Certifications:

• Project management certification: IPMA (Level D) or a comparable certification (e.g., Prince2 Foundation or Prince2 Agile Foundation).

Professional expertise:

• Industry knowledge:
  • At least 3 years of expertise in statutory accident insurance, including business processes and organizational structures.
  • At least 3 years of knowledge in scaled agile frameworks (ideally SAFe).

Leadership and collaboration:

• Team leadership:
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading large and diverse teams, including managing external and matrix-organized resources.
  • At least 5 years of experience in presentation and moderation before professional audiences and project committees.
  • At least 3 years of consulting competence in methodological project management.

Technical skills:

• Project controlling and reporting:
  • At least 5 years of experience in independently setting up and conducting project controlling and reporting.
  • Proficiency in PM tools, especially MS Project, MS Visio, and the MS Office environment.
  • Experience with Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira.

Additional requirements:

• Project Management Office (PMO): At least 3 years in a responsible project management role in a PMO of an IT service provider.

Location: Germany, Nationwide. Remote work is possible.
