We are looking for a cloud specialist with solid experience in AWS and Azure. The candidate will be responsible for managing APIs, deploying applications, and implementing tools to automate processes. The role also involves ensuring system security, supporting teams in their projects, and analyzing data to optimize performance. Strong expertise in cloud platforms and management tools is essential for this position.

Your Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize the Azure API Management platform in a hybrid cloud environment combining on-premise data centers and landing zones on AWS and Azure.
• Manage decentralized internal Azure APIM platforms (with self-hosted gateways on AWS EKS and on-premise Tanzu) and centralized external Azure APIM platforms with a Web Application Firewall (WAF).
• Integrate the API Management platform with Azure AD for application registration and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Develop automation tools to facilitate API deployment and RBAC management for application teams.
• Oversee the migration of application teams to the Azure API Management platform.
• Monitor and enhance API gateway performance, scalability, and availability.
• Manage the entire API lifecycle, from creation to decommissioning, ensuring proper versioning and compliance.
• Collaborate with development teams to onboard new APIs while adhering to organizational standards and policies.
• Implement robust security measures to safeguard APIs and sensitive data, such as encryption, tokenization, and threat protection.
• Analyze API usage data to identify trends, optimize performance, and explore business opportunities.
• Set up monitoring alerts and dashboards to track key metrics, such as latency, error rates, and throughput.

Desired Profile:

• Extensive expertise in cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience in API management, including RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, and GraphQL.
• Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience in:Managing Azure API Management platform and ECS.
• Working with landing zones in AWS and Azure.
• Deploying and managing Kubernetes-based applications.
• Setting up authentication and RBAC with Azure AD (EntraID).
• Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines for artifact deployment.
• Strong understanding of security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and API keys.
• Knowledge of web services technologies (XML, JSON, WSDL).
• Skills in analyzing and designing automation tools to support application teams.
