Application Support Agent medior

Your Responsibilities:
- Application Support: Manage notifications related to food and animal feed from Member States via iRASFF. Facilitate information exchange between Member States and third countries.
- Administrative Support: Provide direct support to users of the RASFF system and resolve their requests efficiently.
- Data Analysis: Extract and analyze data from the systems to support officials involved in food safety operations.
- Conduct traceability exercises and produce detailed reports on food supply chains. Present results and collaborate with other entities to optimize processes.
- Training and User Support: Organize and conduct training sessions for Member States. Improve and maintain system documentation and ensure its continuous update. Participate in system testing and contribute to inter-team coordination.
- Occasional travel may be required for certain projects.
What We Are Looking For:
- Technical and Scientific Expertise: Academic background in food safety, biology, chemistry, microbiology, or similar fields.
- Languages:
English: Advanced level (mandatory).
French: Preferred, with other European languages as a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of relevant experience, including internships.
- Behavioral Skills:
Team spirit with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to varied challenges.
Eagerness to learn and develop in a dynamic environment.
Analytical skills with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
Knowledge of European Institutions: A good understanding of the EU institutions' operations is an asset.
