At ABAKUS-IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a talented and experienced Release Manager to ensure the stability and performance of our IT production environments.
The Release Manager's objective is to guarantee the stability of the production environment and IT services by using formal procedures and controls related to the planning, testing, and implementation of solutions developed or acquired within the ICT department.
The Release Manager's concrete tasks include, among others:
- Deployment planning;
- Monitoring deployments to ensure their success;
- Task coordination;
- Organizing and implementing communication between concerned parties;
- Risk analysis regarding user impact.
The Release Manager is responsible for the Release Management process.
- They play the role of facilitator and coordinator of the process.
- They coordinate teams in problem resolution during technical activities related to releases.
- They plan and coordinate the delivery, qualification, and go-live phases of releases.
- They ensure the smooth functioning and adherence to timelines of releases, from delivery by the development teams to production deployment.
- They report significant deviations.
- They advise teams on decisions regarding planning impact.
- They contribute to the continuous improvement of existing procedures and process implementation.
