This role is integral to delivering top-tier services for large-scale IT systems with a focus on high availability and performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Data architecture: Develop and validate scalable data architecture solutions for the project.
• Big data & analytics: Utilize your practical experience with big data design patterns, analytics, and data governance to drive impactful insights.
• Service implementation: Design and implement robust service patterns and distributed systems.
• Messaging layers: Ensure seamless data flow through efficient messaging layer design.
• Project support: Provide direct support to project activities in the design, implementation, and administration of tools.
• Data processing: Design, develop, and implement data cleansing, preparation, and processing solutions.
• Coordination: Follow up and coordinate all data manipulation activities throughout the project.
• Training & support: Provide training and support on data manipulation and processing to project stakeholders.
• Documentation: Contribute to data modelling, interface definition, technical and functional documentation.
• System design: Ensure the design fulfills business and non-functional requirements (volume, scalability, stability, confidentiality, security, integrity, availability).
• Technical guidance: Provide architectural guidance for the design and implementation.
• Tool deployment: Participate in the deployment, integration, and administration of platform tools.
• Operational procedures: Identify, document, and apply operational procedures for platform use.
• Stakeholder coordination: Ensure all expectations, requirements, and constraints are considered and validated.

Skills & Experience:

• Extensive hands-on experience with large-scale IT systems and high availability setups.
• In-depth knowledge of analytics, big data design patterns, and data governance.
• Proven expertise in distributed system design and service implementation patterns.
• Practical knowledge of tools such as Dataiku, Denodo, Superset, JupyterLab, and RStudio is a significant asset.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 9 years of professional experience in data architecture and engineering.

Deliverables:

• Monthly service reports summarizing service actions and context of pilot activities.
• Technical deliverables such as data models, processing code, technical documentation, workshop material, analysis reports.
