This role involves managing key projects, developing business cases, ensuring successful delivery of capabilities and services, and leading cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Project management: Plan, implement, and manage assigned projects following the client's regulations and policies.
• Business case development: Create procurement strategies, benefit and risk analyses, project proposals, and statements of work to secure sponsor acceptance and funding.
• Quality assurance: Execute management, coordination, and quality assurance functions to ensure successful project delivery.
• Client interaction: Understand client requirements, collect data, deliver analysis, and resolve problems.
• Progress reporting: Deliver projects within defined scope, time, cost, and quality parameters, and report progress regularly.
• Resource management: Identify, plan, and allocate resources to meet project milestones and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
• KPI management: Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators, addressing anomalies and initiating corrective actions.
• Risk management: Proactively manage risks and issues, keeping logs updated and reporting deviations with corrective actions.
• Financial management: Oversee project cash flow, contributing to financial planning and reporting.
• Business planning: Support annual and multi-year business planning with accurate project planning and forecasting.
• Team leadership: Supervise and lead project teams, holding meetings with internal/external stakeholders and customers.
• Communication: Ensure regular and accurate communication to stakeholders, maintaining high-quality project artefacts.
• Technical support: Participate in relevant technical support and maintenance activities, keeping project and risk plans updated.

Qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years of post-related experience. Alternatively, extensive and progressive expertise (at least 10 years) in related duties may compensate for the lack of a degree.
• Certifications: Recognized formal Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE 2 Practitioner / Project Management Professional (PMP)). Lack of formal qualifications can be compensated by demonstrated expertise and experience.
• Experience: At least 3 years of recent, extensive Project Management experience in a large-scale IT organization.
• Technical skills: Knowledge in planning, design, system engineering, and implementation of C4ISR systems. Familiarity with Deployable Communication and Information Systems (CIS) network design and related standards.
• Communication skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with good briefing skills.
• Clearance: Security clearance required

Desirable skills and experience:

• Proven success as a project team manager/leader in C4ISR acquisition projects.
• ITIL Foundation Level Certification.
• Engineering background and technical leadership experience.
• Experience with Project Management automation (ServiceNow) and work collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of national governmental acquisition policy and procurement procedures.
• Prior experience working in an international environment.
