Business/Functional Analyst
ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS is seeking a dynamic Business/Functional Analyst to join our team.
This exciting opportunity will have you performing analysis activities, with a strong focus on defining and managing business and functional requirements, data analysis, and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define high-level and detailed business requirements
- Gather non-functional requirements (e.g., security, GDPR)
- Perform data analysis and modeling
- Conduct process analysis, identifying AS-IS states, bottlenecks, and proposing TO-BE solutions
- Create models using UML, BPMN, and Story Mapping
- Manage the backlog, define Epics, Features, and User Stories
- Act as a Product Owner and establish Agile practices
- Collaborate closely with the DEV team, architects, Scrum Master, and PM
- Assist the PM with business cases, project charters, and risk analysis
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical, synthetical, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Agile knowledge and experience (backlog management, user stories)
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in deep system analysis
- Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
- Quick learner with strong stakeholder management abilities
- Team player with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfortable in international and multicultural environments
Language Requirements:
- Excellent English proficiency (C1 level)
- French knowledge is a plus (B2 level)
- Other EU languages are an asset
Additional Assets:
- Experience with European projects
- Background in engineering or computer science
- Knowledge of Kanban, Azure DevOps, Jira
- Digital knowledge (website and mobile app development)
- Proficiency in making wireframes and prototypes
- SQL knowledge, BPMN, and conceptual data modeling
- Knowledge of fishbone diagrams
